There a major emergency service response in Abergavenny Town Centre, as police and ambulance crews rushed to the scene this afternoon.
The air ambulance has also landed in Abergavenny Castle, with members of the public confirming they had seen a helicopter descend below the ancient ruins, while one was also seen at Bailey Park as medics arrived outside the Angel Hotel.
In a statement, Wales Air Ambulance confirmed two units were dispatched to the area.
"I can confirm that two Wales Air Ambulance helicopters attended an incident in that region today (Wednesday October 22),” a spokesperson said.”
“Our Dafen and Cardiff-based crews were allocated at 12:08 and the first helicopter arrived at the scene at 12.27pm. Our involvement concluded at 1.50pm."
