A fund-raising cycle ride last weekend has raised more than £1,565 for the charity MAGIC, which provides inclusive opportunities for children and young people with additional needs.
The money will help fund MAGIC’s activities in Abergavenny and Chepstow including soft play sessions for children with additional needs and their siblings.
The charity also provides parties, fun days, music sessions and other inclusive activities as well as parent support groups.
The event ran in parallel with a fun day at St Faith’s Church Hall in Llanfoist, with children’s activities, face painting, raffle and cake sale.
“We had a fantastic day,” said Lorraine Jenkins from MAGIC. “A massive thank you to Zoe, Laura, Michelle, and Donna from the Acorn Centre and Mike Logan, Louise Rixon and Paul Tucker who all completed the 50k - and to Tracey Millet, Carys Millet and Claire Morgan who also completed the 10k.”
