PICTURED is Gilwern youngster Lydia Williams and her trusty steed Sir Eric who have qualified for this year's Horse of the Year show.
The 15-year-old Crickhowell High School pupil who has been riding horses since the age of five, earned a place to compete in the prestigious event after winning her category in the 'Search For a Star' competition held at Badgeworth arena earlier this month.
This was the first event Lydia had entered with Eric and now the pair hope to do equally as well in the Horse of the Year Show to be held in October.
