LLANARTH made no mistake about laying their hands on the Langdon Cup and bringing it on home last Friday after beating neighbours Raglan in the fiercely contested final.

Played at Plough Road, Llanarth proved to be quite a handful for the Raglan defence and cruised to a 4-0 half-time lead with Daniel Wheeler and Gavin Phillips bagging a brace apiece.

Not about to lie down and let their cup dreams vanish into thin air, Raglan made a fist of things after the interval and fought back with two quick goals through Chris Tyler and David Ellias.

Raglan's Tony Rennie long throw into the area proved a useful weapon for his team but the Llanarth defence held off the attacks of centre midfield David Ellias and Chris Jordan to win the day and seize the cup.
