Nick Ramsay, local Assembly Member for Monmouth, has become Shadow Finance Minister in an Assembly Shadow Cabinet reshuffle. Speaking last week Mr Ramsay said "I was pleased to accept the position of Shadow Finance Minister in the recent Shadow Cabinet reshuffle. "We are entering a crucial phase in the life of the Assembly with the passage of the Government of Wales Bill through Parliament and proposed fiscal changes to the Assembly. "It is absolutely vital that any changes, particularly in the field of taxation, are got right. I am looking forward to working closely with the new Secretary of State for Wales, Stephen Crabb MP, to deliver a fiscal settlement for Monmouthshire and Wales that is both strong and sustainable."
