A DROP in centre and social club for people with leg problems was officially opened this month.
Blaenavon Leg Club give people a chance to meet other people with similar problems and get help in a friendly and social environment.
A light buffet and drinks were laid on to mark the occasion at Blaenavon Workman's Hall with chairman Pauline Whitcombe and the committee welcoming special guests Aneuran and Maris James, the Torfaen mayor and mayoress and Tom Huish Blaenavon's mayor. The centre is open from 9.30am until 4pm. " Please come and support this new venture to benefit the community," said Ms Whitcombe.
