Gwent Police are appealing for information following a burglary at an address on Avenue Road in Abergavenny sometime between 7.20am and 1.20pm last Thursday (February 9).

The offender/s gained entry via a patio door and following an untidy search stole a large quantity of jewellery along with a tablet and a laptop.

A witness has reported seeing a white male approximately 5’10 tall, of medium build, with dark brown hair which was brushed forward, standing on the driveway at approximately 11.15am.He is also described as wearing a black puffer style jacket.

The police would like to speak to this individual as he may be a witness to this crime and hold further information.
