It was believed that the Doctor Who production company was filming on private farmland at Llanvetherine, yet when the Chronicle’s photographer Charles Trott was dispatched to get a closer look it was a case of Doctor Where? rather than Doctor Who?
Motorists driving along the B4521 near Abergavenny had spotted that the National Trust car park below Skirrid Fawr was choc-a-bloc with vehicles - but a National Trust spokesperson could only say that the company was using the car park while filming on private land nearby.
With no-one allowed near the action and nobody apparently able to shed any light on what scenes were being filmed or which actors were involved, you might have to watch the next series on BBC One to work out which bits of the time-traveller’s latest adventures actually happened around Abergavenny in 2017!
