OWNERS of a pet raven who has been missing for a month are appealing to anyone who may have seen him in and around Abergavenny.
Two foot long Joe, who is looked after by Rebecca and Paul Edwards from Brecon Road, Abergavenny, went missing on October 9 after the dorr of his aviary in the back garden was accidentally left open.
They are urging anyone who may have seen him to call him by his name and pick him up. "He is very tame and answers to his name. He loves cheese and his wing span is four foot. He may try and land on a shoulder but he is harmless," said Rebecca.
There has been two sightings of Joe, two weeks ago in Govilon.
The couple first saw Joe when they were walking their dog and found him sat on the grass verge, "He was just sat there and was very tame. We saw him there a few hours later and was worried that a fox or cat might get him so we took him home," she said.
The couple say they are desperate to get Joe back and are offering a cash reward. Anyone with information can contact Rebecca on 07733 435390.
