The Abergavenny Hotel is holding its first ever Gin festival on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 July from 6pm. Building on the great reputation the stylish bar already has, there will be a variety of Gins and Gin cocktails available throughout the weekend, including ‘Fallen Angel’, ‘Glass Slipper’ & ‘Road Runner’.

A social media poll for the event has suggested that the most popular brand of Gin over the festival will be Williams Chase Elegant Gin, with Hendrick’s coming in a close second, however there will be a large selection of Gins on offer (as well as plenty of options for those who are not Gin drinkers!)

There will be live music each evening and a raffle ticket will be given out with each alcoholic drink purchased for a draw, at 10.30pm each night, to win a bottle of Williams Chase Gin.

The event has generated a huge amount of interest so far, so Keith and Jacky are looking forward to a busy weekend, which could become an annual festival for the hotel.
