New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to 12 of Monmouthshire’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to four restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Abergavenny Brewers Fayre at Westgate, Llanfoist, Abergavenny; rated on December 8

• Rated 5: The Retreat @ Llanover at The Retreat, Pen-Croes-Oped Road, Upper Llanover, Llanover; rated on November 23

• Rated 5: The Coffee Beam at Unit 53e - Wye Gymnastics & Galaxy Cheer, Symondscliff Way, Severn Bridge Industrial Estate, Portskewett; rated on November 9

• Rated 5: Together WORKS at Woodstock Way, Caldicot; rated on November 9
