FORMER mayor of Abergavenny, David Simcock, will be taking to two wheels as he heads for twin-town, Beaupréau in the Loire Valley to take part in three days of celebrations marking thirty years of friendship through twinning later this month.
David, who handed over the chain of office to Councillor Teslin Davies on Tuesday, will be taking the 600-mile trip at the end of May along with a number of long-time twinners, the new mayor and a large number of young footballers from the Rhinos Club.
