A DRIVER has been arrested after a pedestrian was hit by a car on Abergavenny’s Tudor Street.
Police received a report of a road traffic collision involving a car and a pedestrian at around 11.15am on Wednesday 19 August.
A pedestrian has been taken to hospital for treatment; her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
A 37-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of driving with a proportion of a controlled drug above the limit and driving without due care and attention; he remains in police custody at this time.
