PLANNED roadworks will see disruption to traffic in Llanfoist from tomorrow as two engineering schemes get under way.

The A4143 Llanfoist bridge will be closed each evening at 8pm until 6am from September 23 to Sunday, October 23 as Monmouthshire County Council undertakes repair work on the stone bridge.

Additionally, the eastbound slips of the A465 Heads of the Valley road will be closed at Llanfoist junction between Monday, October 3 and Friday, October 7, again between 8pm and 6am the next morning.

However, the closure of Llanfoist bridge will be suspended between October 3 and October 10 to allow work to be carried out on the Heads of the Valley road.

Diversions will be in place while all the works are taking place.
