Abergavenny couple, Clive and Joyce Gilbertson celebrated their 60th wedding Anniversary last Saturday (April 2) with a lunch party for more than 40 family and friends at their daughter Ruth’s home in Cyncoed, Cardiff.

Many people will have come across Clive who was a Consultant Physician at Nevill Hall Hospital for many years, before retiring some twenty years ago.

Joyce taught many children at the former Castle Street Girls’ School and then at Harold Road Junior School before she retired thirty years ago.

Four generations of the family gathered for excellent lunch with close friends and much time was spent reminiscing over the couple’s happy married life. May they enjoy many more happy years together!
