ONCE again the Year 13 students at Crickhowell High School have exceeded all expectations and produced impressive results.
A total of 141 Advanced Level subjects were taken by 47 students with a 100 percent pass rate, 40 percent of all grades were A grade while 84 percent were at C or above.
Andy Timpson, head teacher, said that he was once again absolutely delighted with the results achieved by the dedicated work of both students and staff.
Almost all of the students had secured their Higher Education places and he wished them well for the future. He also commented that this was a very sociable group of students who had matured in the Sixth Form and produced results well above expectations.
Whilst all of the students are to be congratulated, the following deserve mention for achieving 360+ UCAS points (the equivalent of 3 A grades).

A Crickhowell student of Christ College, Brecon is also celebrating after achieving outstanding A-level results.
Josh Games achieved A grades in Spanish, Religious Studies and English, as well as an A grade in AS History. Josh said, "I'm delighted with these results. The modules gave me a good idea that I was on course for these grades. I'm going to take a year out and re-apply for some university courses next year."
