Christopher Woodward has been returned to prison
A convicted killer who escaped from a prison in Monmouthshire has been found, say police.
Christopher Woodward, 44, absconded from Prescoed jail at around 08:45 GMT on Friday, 17 January.
Also known as Christopher Hunter, he was convicted of manslaughter in Lincolnshire in 1999.
Gwent Police, who had warned people not to approach Woodward, said he was found and arrested in the neighbouring South Wales Police area on Saturday.
Last week Monmouth MP David Davies used the case of Woodward to highlight concerns about security at the prison
