Community firework displays are back on after a two year break brought on by Covid lockdowns and restrictions.

So whether you are in Monmouthshire, Abergavenny, Ross on Wye or the Forest of Dean there’s firework fun this year after a long awaited two years.

Monmouthshire are holding a range of bonfire and firework displays around the county.

Devauden fireworks at The Hood Memorial Hall are holding their firework display and live music on Friday November 5. Live music begins at 6:15pm, the bonfire at 6:30pm and the fireworks at 7pm. Entry by donations (NP16 6NX).

Monmouth Rowing club are holding their Bonfire and fireworks night for the first time since 2019 from £3 for a child, £5 for an adult or £12 family ticket for four.

You can enjoy fireworks, burgers and ice-cream from 6pm and 8pm by the River Wye on the 5th November 5. (NP25 3DP.)

Rotary Monmouth’s Bonfire and Fireworks evening is on Friday November 5 at the field adjacent to Monmouth Rowing Club NP25 3DP.

Gates open at 6pm. Bonfire at 6:30pm. Fireworks at 6:45pm. Burgers and ice cream on sale.

Entry is £6 per adult, £3 per child under 14, £15 for a family of 4

Finally, two days later than the previous displays, Chepstow Community fireworks at Chepstow Comprehensive school is holding their display on Sunday, November 7. The gates are open between 4.30pm and 7.30pm and entry is free. (NP16 5LR.)

Another display is the Round table fireworks extravaganza at Belgrave Park, Abergavenny on Friday, November 5.

The gates for the display will open at 5pm where you can enjoy the range of food, drinks, light up toys and the small funfair for the kids that they are offering until the fireworks begin at 7pm.

Admittance is £8 for adults and £4 for children and all proceedings go to charities and causes in the local area. (NP7 7AE)

However, if Ross on wye is closer to you, you can enjoy Ross Lion’s firework display on Friday, November 5 in celebration of 50 years of service to the community.

While waiting for the fireworks to begin at 7pm you can get the refreshments that will be available from 6pm. (HR9 5JR.)

The Forest of Dean’s Speech House fireworks and bonfire is being held on Saturday, November 6. From 4pm to 9pm you can enjoy Danter’s funfair, bonfire and fireworks and food.

Admission is £6 for adults and free entry for primary school children and younger. (GL16 7EC)

As well as this, Broadwell AFC are holding their display on November 6 2021.

Their display will begin at 6.45pm and entry is by donation. (GL16 7BE)
