Madam, I should like to correct an error in the report about the award of honorary degrees by the University of Wales, ('Welsh professors honoured', Cambrian News, Thursday 7 April). I am not a Nobel Laureate as stated at the beginning of the article - it was my colleague and co-author, Maurice Wilkins, who received that particular honour, as is correctly stated further on in the article!
