THE maverick presenters from Top Gear were in Abergavenny today (Wednesday, January 18) - racing around the town on adapted mobility scooters.

The team of Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond thrilled the town's shoppers as they raced up on down the High Street and in the market. One local resident Caroline Brock riding her own mobility scooter even challenged Richard to a race in his military tank styled scooter - and won.

The three presenters were filmed as they entered various shops, causing chaos wherever they went.
