MONMOUTHSHIRE Golf Club held this year's annual charity day in aid of Nevill Hall hospital's Children's Ward and raised a grand total of three thousand pounds.

The winners of the event were Peter Harris (first team) with 89 points and Paul Harrison (second team) with 88 points.

Nearest the pin were John Bache (fifth) and David Bailey (twelfth).

Organiser of the event Mike Griffiths would like to thank the Monmouthshire Golf Club for hosting the competition, the people who donated raffle prizes, and everyone else involved who made the day such an enjoyable success.
