A man has been taken to Nevill Hall Hospital with minor injuries following a road traffic accident at Llanover early this morning.
The incident is understood to involve one vehicle, which has left the road and landed in the garden of a home in the village.
The road between Abergavenny to Pontypool was closed with detours put in place from the Hardwick roundabout at the Monmouth Road end of Abergavenny.A police spokeswoman, said, "At approximately 4.52am this morning, we received a report of a single vehicle road traffic collision in Llanover. "A 50-year-old male was taken to Neville Hall Hospital by ambulance. His injuries are not thought to life-threatening or life-changing at this time. "Officers are currently investigating the cause of the accident and request that anyone who may have witnessed the collision contact us on 101 quoting log 53 4/12/17."
