A TEN-year-old dog missing in Cwmyoy is causing increasing concern for his owner, Andrew Gwillim, due to the animal’s age and the coming of colder and wetter weather.

Duke, a black labrador, has been away from home in Upper Henllan for ten days and Andrew is appealing for local people and those passing through the surrounding countryside to keep their eyes peeled for the friendly old dog.

Andrew’s sister, Suzanne Jones told the Chronicle, ‘Duke has had the occasional wander in the past but everyone knows him and he has always found his way home. He has never gone missing like this before’.

Now Andrew has enlisted the help of charity, Harvey’s Army, which exists to spread the word and help in the search for missing animals.
