Calendar to promote town's tourism

THE Abergavenny calendar featuring the town's events and breathtaking images of the mountains is now on sale.

The Abergavenny and District Tourist Association teamed up with local writer Robert Jones to create this year's calendar.

Mr Jones took all the photographs and helped organise the calendar along with chair of the Abergavenny and District Tourist Association Jenny Taylor and printers Dover and Co from Abergavenny.

Mr Jones said, "I have taken images on or from the three mountains, the Blorenge, Sugar Loaf and the Skirrid and enjoyed working on it.

"We want to thank the sponsors and the Tourism Association for helping with it ."

Jenny Taylor said. "We will do anything we can to support Abergavenny's tourism. The pictures were smashing."

The calendar, priced at £5.50, is sponsored by businesses in Abergavenny and is available locally.
