THE body of a 39-year-old male was discovered in a wooded area near to Tudor Street at approximately 10.20am Wednesday, May 5.

A spokesman from Gwent Police said, "The ambulance service was called, CPR was administered but efforts to resuscitate the man proved unsuccessful.

"Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death and are currently treating it as unexplained."
