AFTER walking for more than 80 miles a team of charity walkers raised an impressive £2,954.96.
The Abergavenny Ant Hill Mob completed the Hadrian Wall walk earlier this year to raise money for the Prostate Cancer Charity.
Charles Thomas, Reinhold Labisch, Steve Hitchman and his son Tomos, 11, walked for five days from Newcastle to Bowness on Solway, Carlisle.
Mr Thomas said, "We want to thank everyone who supported us, family friends and local businesses from around Abergavenny and the UK. It has raised awareness of the charity and plenty of money."
Mr Thomas told The Chronicle about his plan next year to walk 174 miles from Glasgow to Inverness for the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
