Among the more colourful sights of the opening day on the Maes were the members of the Topaz Tribal belly dancing class who entertained the crowds at the Monmouthshire pavilion with two thirty minute dancing exhibitions.

The Abergavenny based group offers classes, workshops and can also be booked for performances and is led by certified instructor Wendy Hughes.

The group will be performing again on Sunday at the Maes.
