GOOD old Jenny Long subjects us, yet again, to a barrage of predictable principled outrage concerning the content of a letter from James Charles, which obviously upset her equilibrium in the moral indignation stakes.
The letter that Ms Long highlighted as an incredible affront to other correspondents and her supposed concerns about James Charles having a big bee in his bonnet, was a breathtaking fusion of imagination and indignation.
Having re-read the letter from James Charles it is clear that he voiced his thoughts about specific notoriously wearisome and self-opinionated correspondents in an unambiguous and erudite style.
It was high time that somebody aired such much needed views, as the entire subject of level-headed debate via our local newspaper was in desperate need of good shake up.
Well done, Mr Charles! Tell it exactly how it is and spare the soft soap.
