A GROUP of knitting enthusiasts have been busy making quilts for the Special Care Baby Unit and the Children’s Ward at Nevill Hall Hospital.

The Wye Knot Quilters have been doing their thing since 1993. The group originally started in Builth Wells and meet every Tuesday morning.

In September 2017 they moved to Garth Hall. They now have 18 members which include two of the founder ladies.

In the past they have also made quilts to raise money for The Bracken Trust ( cancer support), Air Ambulance and donated lap quilts to a local care home.
