ABERGAVENNY’S Air Cadets will be helping celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday on Thursday by lighting a beacon on the Blorenge.

Organised by Abergavenny Town Council, the flame will be lit at 8.30pm - in keeping with almost 1,000 more in towns and villages all over the country.

If you are out and about at 8:30pm on Thursday, then have a look up at the Blorenge and you should see the beacon.
