LAST Friday night, saw Abergavenny’s very own Elvis, Keith Davies appearing before a full house at The Clarence Hall in Crickhowell with the Prince Of Wales Philharmonic Band.
Belting out the first half as the true king of rock can do, and singing with the orchestra in the second-half brought the house down with the Presley classics.
The night was in aid of various charities and SAFRA being the main charity in benefit.
On the Saturday night Abergavenny Elvis a.k.a. Keith Davies of Abergavenny Electrics, performed a full Elvis concert at The Redgrave Theatre Bristol to an audience 155 of die-hard Presley fans. All money raised was donated to local charities in the area.
Keith has now raised over £300,000, over 14 years, with all monies donated to charity and good causes.
Keith will be performing an Elvis Gospel show at St,Teilo’s Church on Saturday, September 16 and tickets are selling well for the show which has become a very popular night with a lot of adoring fans.
The last concert for the year will be the Christmas show at The Abergavenny Borough Theatre on Saturday, December 9 which is sure to be a sell-out.
