VISITORS from Abergavenny's French twin town Beaupreau arrive today (Thursday 13 May) for the annual exchange visit. 

In a busy schedule, they have a reception with the Mayor on Thursday afternoon, a visit to Cardiff on Friday followed by a typical British pub-games evening complete with fish and chips, and a meal with their hosts and other members of the Abergavenny Beaupreau Twinning Association (ABTA) on Saturday. They leave on Sunday morning for the journey back to Beaupreau.

The weekend offers an opportunity to renew friendships built up over many years of twinning, and to make new friends too.  Next year, it will be Abergavenny's turn to visit France.
