Abergavenny Bus station closure postponed...again

Abergavenny Bus Station closure will not take place this coming weekend from Saturday to Monday as proposed. The bus station will remain open as normal. The work to remove a crane at the McCarthy and Stone development has been postponed due to a poor weather forecast for the weekend.

The crane will be dismantled at a later date and the information will be shared with the public when a new date is confirmed.

Councillor Bryan Jones, Monmouthshire’s cabinet member for operations said, “We apologise for any inconvenience. It is important that the work is carried out safely and at an appropriate time.”
