As the dreary cold winter finally moves into spring AAODS invite you to join them on the French Riviera.

You won’t need a passport, in fact you don’t need to go further than the Borough Theatre, just upstairs from the market hall in Abergavenny because from Tuesday May 8 to Saturday May 12 AAODS will be performing Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, a musical based on the hilarious film which starred Michael Caine and Steve Martin.

Suave con-artist Lawrence Jamieson makes a living tricking rich ladies into giving him their money.

When Freddy Benson arrives in town he challenges the status quo, and Lawrence’s position as chief con artist is threatened.

As they decide the town isn’t big enough for the both of them, they make a bet.

The first one to swindle $50,000 from their chosen “mark” wins but as the bet begins, they quickly realise they may have bitten off more than they can chew...

Sophisticated, suave and with a good dash of mischief, this hysterical comedy features a delightfully jazzy score, and has been described by critics as “a delightful throwback to the all-but-lost era of musical comedy”.

Tickets are available now from the Borough Theatre on 01873 850805, via the website www.boroughtheatreabergavenny.co.uk or by calling in person to the Box Office next to the entrance to the Market Hall.

The show is suitable for everyone aged 14+.
