The eastbound carriageway of the A465 between Brymawr and Gilwern is now back open after an incident shut the road earlier today. ??Police said two cars collided on the road at around noon today, near Gilwern. ??Workers from the traffic management team are heading to the scene, whilst drivers are warned that delays in both directions remain likely.

A Gwent Police spokeswoman said, "At approximately 12:30 pm we received reports of a two-vehicle road traffic collision on the A465 near Gilwern.

"There are no life-threatening injuries at this time."
