Gwent Police are appealing for information after a silver Ford KA collided with a police vehicle and failed to stop on Brunant Road in Gilwern at around 5pm on Sunday (June 12).

The driver of the KA then ran a red light on the A465 causing another motorist to take evasive action to avoid another collision.

The vehicle was then found abandoned nearby.

The driver was described as a white male in his 20s with short hair.

His passenger was a white female with blonde, tied-back hair and wearing glasses.
