THIEVES made off with a ‘large amount’ of cash in a burglary at Wernddu Golf Club, Llantilio Pertholey overnight on Monday/Tuesday, April 30th/May 1st.

Police say the perpetrators smashed their way in, disabled alarms and made off with a safe containing the cash.

Police would like to speak with anyone living in the area who might have seen something, or who operates CCTV and may have observed suspicious vehicles in the area of late or a dumped safe.
