LONG delays are expected as emergency services attend the scene of an incident on the railway lines between Abergavenny and Penpergwm.

Arriva Trains announced via social media that all lines between Abergavenny and Cwmbran were currently blocked ‘due to a person being hit by a train’.

Train services running through these stations may be cancelled, delayed or revised. Disruption is expected until 9pm.

Emergency services and the air ambulance are in attendance and the Raglan road is also closed.
