The southbound carriageway of the A449 near Raglan was closed from approximately 6.10am on Monday morning following a single vehicle road traffic accident.

A woman was taken to Nevill Hall Hospital in Abergavenny with non-life-threatening injuries.The incident, between the Raglan and Usk interchanges at Llanllowell, caused traffic queues and temporary diversions were put in place. The road was later re-opened.
