Gwent Police is appealing for witnesses following a burglary which occurred at approximately 5.30pm on Tuesday, October 4 at St David’s Close in Abergavenny.

The offender is believed to have entered the house and stolen a quantity of cash. He is being described as being white with short, curly ginger hair, brushed back and a thick ginger/brown goatee beard. He is believed to be in his mid to late 40s approximately 5’6 and of ‘quite a stocky build’.

It is understood he left the area in a green Fiat Punto car.
