Abergavenny Youth Netball Club’s upward spiral was evident in their recent awards night.

The club has gone from strength to strength and now boasts a healthy 50 players participating in their U12 (school year six and seven) and U14 (school years eight and nine) sessions.

Both age categories are represented by two teams who play in the South East Wales Valley League at Ebbw Vale Leisure Centre.

Their U14 ‘A’ team consists of Lucy Lavington, Jessie Barrell, Amelia Jones, and Seren Howells, who also play for the Monmouthshire County Hub. This team have also made the final which will be held in Cardiff this July. Well done girls!

U12’s Most Improved players: Gracie Evans, Eryn Jones

U14’S Coaches’ Players :Seren Howells, Daisy Bayliss

U14’s Most improved players : Evie Shankland, Olivia Fisher
