Monmouthshire Golf Club Juniors finally played the Millennium Trophy, after very inclement weather washed out the two previous attempts.

The results are as follows.

1st: Osian Jones - 40 points (On count back)

2nd: Dylan Bull - 40 points

3rd: Joe Hill - 39 points

Nearest the pin on fifth was the club’s newest member Joe Hill.

The club played the Captain’s Prize with the captain of the club, Steve Parry, seeing the Juniors drive off.

The club’s Junior Wales Cap Lewis Jones, is still flying the flag for Gwent, playing off two handicap. Jay Detheridge, another of the club’s low-handicap Juniors, has also played in some very prestigious events with creditable results.
