MONMOUTHSHIRE Golf Club’s Adelaide Francis has been selected to join the GB team for girls aged 11-12 on the British Junior Golf Tour of America this July.

Addie who is a member of both the Monmouthshire and Newport Golf Club, is coached individually by Wales Mens’ coach Neil Matthews and also coached as part of the Junior Girls Welsh Team by Paul Williams from North Wales.

Addie, who holds the title of Monmouthshire Sports Woman of the Year, is looking for a sponsor to help with traveling costs. If anyone is interested they should contact the Chronicle’s sports desk.
