Abergavenny Town Girls returned to winning ways with a 4-0 demolition of top of the table Abertillery.
The girls started the game as they finished in complete control with Carys Pond netting the first after a good break down the left. Ruby Gould then showed her fine control with a good individual effort, and then played through her strike partner Macey McCann for the third. McCann then slotted home the fourth and her second of the game with a fantastic run and finish.
Abergavenny’s midfield trio of Bella Wilce, Chelleter Graham-Sawyers and Mia Sherrard dominated their opposition in the middle. Centre halves Brooke Davies and Cristyn Powell both put in commanding displays as Abertillery failed to compete with the defence and midfield of the Abergavenny team.
Katie Barker again showed her ever increasing confidence and ability with a confident and assured performance between the sticks.
All in all it was a fantastic team effort.
