Glangrwyney Cricket Club have a new artificial wicket for the upcoming season. The club continues to build and sees the introduction of the artificial wicket as a significant step towards the long-term growth of the club.
The main aim is to support the ongoing development of the club’s junior section however it will also provide a tremendous resource for all.
Club Chairman Eddie Harding said, “We are extremely grateful for the financial support from both the ECB and Tesco, without which this project would not have succeeded. Also the dedication and hard work of Robert Charlton who made it happen, and not least dura-sport who provided the surface. Dura-sport have proved to be very knowledgeable and professional partner and laid the surface in a timely manner with great skill, causing minimal disruption.”
