ABERGAVENNY Women have secured their place in the national CWPAN Y BOBL five-a-side competition which will take on Llandudno Ladies on June 3 at The Champions League Festival in Cardiff Bay on the floating pitch.

Having reached the final the squad have won tickets to watch Real Madrid v Juventus in the Champions League Final later the same day.

In March the team won the Gwent regional competition with a 100% winning record which saw them qualify for the semi-finals held in Cardiff last Sunday and yet again they turned on the style winning all six games against teams from all over Wales including last season’s champions Llanyrafon, and the team they’ll face in Cardiff Bay, Llandudno.

Club secretary Wayne Jeremiah said, "It’s going to be an amazing day for the squad to experience the atmosphere and to be a small part of what is going to be a special occasion Champions League Final day in Cardiff.”
