ABERGAVENNY Women Under 14s continued their unbeaten start to the season with a 3-1 win over visiting Cardiff Crusaders.

The girls started off strongly with some excellent passing and set up play. The deadlock was soon broken with an excellent run and finish by Eleri Jones. Aber then added their second through right back Meg Welford. Cardiff pulled one back, but Abergavenny put the game to bed with a fine finish by Carys Jeremiah.

The scorers were backed up by the matchday squad of Katie Barker, Bobbi Allcock, Bella Wilce, Cristyn Powell, Sophie Engel, Carys Pond, Mia Sherrard, Gracie Grosvenor, Elin Ball, Ella Rees-Weldon and Chelleter Graham-Sawyers.

Next week the girls travel to face Newport Civil Service.
