ABERGAVENNY Town Girls Under 13s played their final league game of this season against Villa Dino and recorded an empathetic 11-0 victory.

The result leaves them second in Division One of the South Wales Women and Girls leagues.

The girls played some fantastic passing football with goals coming from Eleri Jones (4), Gracie Grosvenor (2), Mia Sherrard (2) and Ruby Gould.

The scorers were assisted by teammates Chelleter Graham-Sawyers, Bobbi Allcock, Brooke Davies, Bella Wilce, Sophie Engel, Carys Pond, and Meg Welford.

Aber’s Keeper Katie Barker had very little to do in the first half, and so played the second half for Villa Dino. She made some fantastic saves and frustrated her Aber teammates.

The girls are back in action at the end of March where they host Llanbradach in the league cup.
