Abergavenny Town Girls Under 12s were seaside bound last Sunday for a tough ask against league leaders Barry.

In the end Aber battled for a hard-earned 1-1 draw against an outfit who remain unbeaten this season..

Meg Welford scored the Aber goal with some fine pressing play. Ruby Gould, Macey Mccann, Carys pond and Isabella Rudge all contributed with some fine pressing and created numerous goal scoring opportunities.

Midfielders Chelleter Graham-Sawyers, Sophie Engel, Mia Sherrard and Bella Wilce worked tirelessly in both attack and defence.

Defenders Brooke Davies and Cristyn Powell again looked comfortable against a good Barry attack, with keeper Katie Barker controlling her area well.

With one game left to play in the season the girls retain their third place in the league.
