CRICKHOWELL Tennis Club is in the rudest of health following the refurbishment of the two courts and the entry of a squad of ten players into this season’s Men’s Veterans South Wales Tennis League.

The players practice every Thursday and Wednesday evening, often alongside club coach Carys Howard-Rees.

With continued match play experience and support of the coach, the club is working hard to secure its first win in an competitive league.

Membership Secretary Tony Jones told the Chronicle, “We are lucky to have a coach as experienced as Carys, and members, both young, and not so young are benefiting from the course and coaches she provides.”
